The Instrumental Music Department at SCPA provides students with a comprehensive music education, offering opportunities to study Band, Harp, Jazz, Orchestra, and Piano. Students develop technical proficiency, musical expression, and ensemble skills while performing a wide range of repertoire across genres and traditions.

Through partnerships with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO), students benefit from mentorship with world-class musicians and educators. From primary variety shows to advanced orchestral and jazz performances, students gain authentic stage experience that prepares them for success in college music programs and professional careers.
