Arts K - 3 Arts

At the School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA), students in grades K–3 begin their artistic journey through a vibrant, exploratory program designed to introduce them to a wide range of art forms. The Primary Arts foundational training ground, which includes instruction in music, visual arts, dance, and drama.

Entry into grades K–3 is through the Cincinnati Public Schools lottery system.

SCPA 3rd-grade students will have their first audition in the second semester. The purpose of this audition is to evaluate the student’s artistic progress at SCPA and to offer a guided audition experience to determine artistic studies for grades 4-6.

All instruction is led by certified arts educators and practicing artists, ensuring that even the youngest students receive high-quality, developmentally appropriate arts education in professional-level facilities.
